Turkey is exploring the last frontier.
Plans are underway for an underwater hotel in Istanbul, Turkey. The new hotel is sure to make a splash in the travel industry.
The seven floor hotel is set to open in 2010 with as many stars as it has floors. The multi-million dollar project is the work of Tanriverdi Holding of Turkey.
All of the hotel’s rooms will have sea views of the Bosphorus Strait. They are also planning for restaurants and exhibition halls in the underwater hotel.
The underwater hotel trend is beginning to make waves. Another project in Figi is underway as we speak.
I’m just hoping they play The Little Mermaid’s “Under The Sea“ at check in!
